Use of Artificial Intelligence in Journalism Practices and Aspects of Public Trust in Solopos Media Group
Main Article Content
Abstract
Artificial intelligence is growing and has an impact on the journalism-based media sector. The use of artificial intelligence can make it faster and easier for journalists to produce news. However, on the other hand, the public questions the credibility of these journalistic products which results in aspects of public trust in the media. This research aims to find out how Solopos Media Group maintains public trust amid the use of artificial intelligence technology in the journalistic process. The researcher uses the concept of public trust and the theory of Social Responsibility of the Press as an analytical tool. The research approach used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with radio management. Researchers also made observations and traced related documents to obtain data that could answer research problems. The results showed that Solopos Media Group is able to maintain public trust in the journalistic products they produce.
